Pensando numa realidade alternativa! Como seria o Brasil se tivesse sido colonizado pelos ingleses, ao invés dos portugueses. Então hoje aqui no @dreloop07, faremos uma reflexão hipotética interessante ao especular outro contexto histórico colonial para Brasil. É claro! Digamos que seja impossível acerta com exatidão os eventos que poderiam ter acontecido, mas poderíamos imaginar algumas mudanças bem significativas.

Primeiro de tudo, é relevante entender que a colonização inglesa teria causado um estilo inteiramente destinto para as terras tropicais. Ao oposto dos portugueses, que estavam em busca de especiarias e riquezas, os ingleses, bem, provável teriam instituído uma frente direcionada ao comércio. Com interesse em produtos como açúcar e ouro, com foco em eficiência e crescimento da infraestrutura.

O aspecto mais marcante, é claro, seria a língua predominante no local, pois o inglês teria se tornado a língua oficial no Brasil. Com isso, teria um impacto profundo na cultura, nas tradições e sobretudo nas relações com outros países que falam mesmo idioma. Dessa forma, seria muito influenciada pela cultura britânica, como, por exemplo: a culinária, a música e não poderia esquecer das comemorações. Isso teria um grande impacto na cultura, na educação e na forma como nos comunicamos hoje. Possivelmente o Brasil teria um sistema político mais descentralizado, em que poder político estaria a cargo do controle do Parlamento, bem parecido com que aconteceu em algumas das colônias inglesas na América do Norte. O que poderia emergir uma monarquia constitucional ou uma república parlamentar. Isso poderia ter resultado em uma maior independência para as regiões brasileiras, com governos locais mais influentes.

Outro aspecto que teria tomando outra direção é a economia. Os ingleses, ficaram conhecidos pela revolução industrial, poderiam ter influenciado no crescimento industrial mais acelerado no Brasil. Provavelmente, a produção de café e outras lavouras de exportação fossem relevantes, porém a diversificação econômica poderia ter acontecido tão logo. Teria outra configuração a política externa. O Brasil teria vinculo mais estreitos com o Reino Unido e com os países do idioma inglês. Isso poderia impactar em alianças, negócios comerciais e principalmente em conflitos internacionais.

Na conjuntura global pela abolição da escravidão, a Inglaterra exerceu um papel importante. Se o Brasil tivesse sido colonizado pelos ingleses, muito provável que a escravidão poderia ter acabado mais cedo do que aconteceu na história. Isso teria consequências profundas na demografia, na sociedade e na economia do país. A população também seria diferente. A imigração inglesa e até mesmo de outros países de idioma inglês poderia ter um impacto maior, fazendo uma fusão cultural mais diversificada. Thinking of an alternate reality! What would Brazil be like if it had been colonized by the British instead of the Portuguese. So today, here at @dreloop07, we're going to make an interesting hypothetical reflection by speculating on another colonial historical context for Brazil. It is clear! Let's just say it's impossible to exactly pinpoint the events that could have happened, but we could imagine some pretty significant changes.

First of all, it is relevant to understand that English colonization would have caused an entirely different style for tropical lands. Unlike the Portuguese, who were in search of spices and riches, the English, well, likely would have instituted a front directed at trade. With an interest in products such as sugar and gold, with a focus on efficiency and infrastructure growth.

The most striking aspect, of course, would be the predominant language in the place, as English would have become the official language in Brazil. With that, it would have a profound impact on culture, traditions and above all on relations with other countries that speak the same language. In this way, it would be greatly influenced by British culture, such as, for example, cuisine, music and not forgetting the celebrations. This would have a huge impact on culture, education and the way we communicate today. Possibly Brazil would have a more decentralized political system, in which political power would be under the control of Parliament, much like what happened in some of the English colonies in North America.
